simulation of forest operations

We are currently starting the European “Innovative Training Network” Skill-For.Action where we at RWTH are offering a full-time and fully-funded research position on the topic “simulation of forest operations”. I think this is an interesting position, because of the topic itself “simulation of forest machines and operations related to carbon emission” and because of the fact, that the research work of this “Early Stage Researcher (ESR)” is closely linked to the work of 11 other ESRs and their institutions distributed over Europe and South Africa.

The major prerequisite for application is that the applications “not have resided in Germany for more than 12 months in the previous 3 years”
