We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow in translational research at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. The goal of the study is to explore the mechanisms involved in lung injury in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Applicants should hold a recent Ph.D. degree and have a background in cell biology or molecular biology or biochemistry. The successful candidate will develop and execute experimental procedures, interpret experiments, present results at scientific conferences and prepare manuscripts for publication. The candidate will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
