Position Description
The Metrology Research Institute at Aalto University, Finland, is searching for a PhD student to develop photometric measurements related to LED-based light sources. We have a new European research project starting in this topic. The laboratory carries out calibrations related with lighting as a national standards laboratory. The applicant will also take part in this activity with customers.
We expect the applicant to have a solid academic background in at least one of the following fields: optics and photonics, measurement science and technology, engineering physics, or electronics.
We offer exposure to international research collaboration with established academic and research institutions.
