This project will investigate the effectiveness and mode of action of novel or designed synthetic antimicrobial peptides. This project will investigate how the structure of these peptides influences their function. The study will be carried out using diverse techniques like circular dichroism spectroscopy, spectrofluorophotometer, HPLC, Confocal Microscopy, Scanning electron microscopy etc.
The ideal candidates have:
– A strong commitment to high-quality research.
– A strong interest in Peptide Biochemistry.
– Molecular cell Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology background.
– Handling above mentioned instruments is advantage.
