PhD researcher

The Department of In Vitro Toxicology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) – Belgium is
looking for a motivated PhD student (m/f) to support their experimental toxicology research.

JOB DESCRIPTION
o You will be involved in an innovative research project focused on the study of experimental
models and mechanisms of cholestasis.
o Your scientific work should result in several manuscripts published in international peerreviewed
journals and a PhD thesis in pharmaceutical sciences.
o You will assist to a minimal extent in the organization of practical courses for students in
master in pharmaceutical sciences.

PROFILE
o You have a master degree in (bio)medical sciences, veterinary sciences, pharmaceutical
sciences or equivalent.
o You are a dynamic and flexible person.
o You are able to work independently, yet as a team member, and accurately.
o You have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
o You have a good knowledge of the English language both written and oral.
