Apply to join our interdisciplinary PhD program, offered by the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology together with the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen.

Our program offers PhD positions in fields spanning the life sciences: biophysics; structural biology and biochemistry; bioinformatics and computational biology; molecular biology and cell biology; developmental biology and genetics; genomics and proteomics; microbiome science, evolution and ecology. Our program aims to endow the next generation of scientists with the skills and knowledge to study complex biological processes that cannot be adequately understood within the limits of a single discipline.

The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) “From Molecules to Organisms” is located in Tuebingen, a hotspot for science and research in southwest Germany.
