YOUR TASKS
Integrated process simulation of powder metallurgical shaping and sintering applied to the optimization of porcelain tile manufacturing
Multiscale process simulation using Discrete Element Method (micro scale) and Flowsheet Simulations (macro scale)
Modeling of single process steps such as filling, compaction, sintering, etc. and determination of structure-property relationships
YOUR PROFILE
University degree, in particular in Process Engineering, Material Science, Computational Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar
Knowledge of structural mechanics, preferably of granular materials
Knowledge in numerical modeling (e.g. FEM, DEM, CFD) and/or programming (e.g. C++)
Strong communication skills both spoken and written as well as good knowledge of English
