Position Description

I am a holder of a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the Isfahan University of Technology. I put a great effort to be successful in my courses and researches. Therefore, my GPA for a Master’s degree is 18.30 out of 20 with 1st rank among 80 students and GPA for Bachelor’s degree is 16.16 out of 20 which put me among the top 10% of the department with rank 3 or 4 at some semesters. During my undergraduate studies, I got opportunities to have some researches on biodegradable and antibacterial orthopedic implants, Magnesium based bone implants, advanced powder metallurgy process such as spark plasma sintering (SPS), designed the hydrogen released setup for evaluation of the degradation behavior of the Magnesium nanocomposite, different methods of evaluating antibacterial properties of Magnesium-Graphene nanocomposite implant such as inhibition zone method, analysis the morphology of bacteria, plus the measurement of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and application the various method in cell culture. In addition, my first paper titled “Influence of copper on the structural, mechanical, and biological characteristics of Mg-1Al-Cu alloy” was accepted for the journal of Materials chemistry and physics in July 2019. My second paper titled ” Stable and anti-bacterial magnesium-graphene nanocomposite-based implants for bone repair” has been recently published for ACS biomaterial journal in September 2020. I have also prepared another paper to evaluate the effect of Graphene in the biological and degradable properties of Mg-based nanocomposite.
