Two Open PhD Positions at Tallinn University of Technology, Large-Scale-Systems-Group

The Large-Scale Systems group is seeking suitable candidates for two vacant PhD positions at TUT Tallinn University of Technology. The successful candidates will conduct research with respect to one of the following topics:

Estonia is known as highly innovative in the IT sector. As a vibrant and modern capital, Tallinn offers excellent quality of life. With its 13.000 students Tallinn University of Technology is the flagship of Estonian engineering and technology education. The Tallinn Tech Large-Scale Systems Group conducts research in large- and ultra-large-scale IT systems. We investigate the architecture, design, realization and management of IT system landscapes, massively resource-intensive systems and highly distributed systems.

We are looking for ambitious persons that have a clear vision of starting an early academic career. If you have already specialized during your studies into distributed systems, enterprise application architecture or databases, this is a clear advantage, but not a necessary requirement.

Salary: 14.400 EUR per year

Duration: 4 years study program

Requirements: master in computer science, informatics, information systems with a strong technological focus or comparable/equivalent master
