Carbohydrates production and fermentation from offshore macroalgae

Vision:
Offshore production of macroalgae biomass
for sustainable food, chemicals and fuels

Project:
Extraction of starch and simple carbohydrates from offshore grown macroalgae with non-thermal pulsed electric fields and new enzymes
Nutritional properties determination
Multiorganism fermentation

Requirements: background in food, chemical, biochemical, biotechnology or process engineering.
