Ph.D scholarship in motor control and sport neuroscience
The Laboratory Action Perception (LAP) directed by Paola Cesari, Ph.D. at the University of Verona (Italy) is offering a 3 years Ph.D scholarship in the areas of motor control and sport neuroscience. The position will involve experimental work on action recognition and action performance by using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, kinematics (MoCap Vicon) and dynamics (force platforms and EMG) data. The lab is located in the University of Verona’s Department Neurosciences, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences and has affiliations with the Graduate Program in Neuroscience, Psychology and Psychiatry.
The position will start the 1st October 2016.
We seek a candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is strongly motivated and preferably has computer-programming experience (the lab relies heavily on MATLAB, R, E-prime). Experience with kinematics and dynamics data collection and analysis is welcome.
