This is an immediate opening PhD position with full financial support (tuition and stipend). The potential research areas include: (1) Deep- Earth fluid cycling and evolution of Tibet plateau: magmatism constraints; (2) Isotope dating and fingerprinting of hydrocarbons and their source rocks for petroleum exploration; and (3) Mantle recycling: from the mantle transition zone to large-scale continental crustal magmatism.

A/Prof. Wang is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow and an international inorganic and isotope geochemist. His research focus on the behaviour of specific elements and isotope systems in high-temperature magmatic system and low-temperature basin thermal fluid system. He has 63 publications in refereed, international journals, which have got 2300 ISI citations with h-index of 21 in web of science, and 3376 with h-index of 25 in Google Scholar (Dec. 2016).
