Position Description
The Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E) is offering up to three postdoctoral fellowships in any of the following lines of research of the Center: Control and Automation, Renewable Energy and Power Conversion, Robotics, Electrical Systems, Data Analytics and Computational Intelligence, and Biomedical Systems. The postdoctoral fellows are expected to design and conduct highly specialized research in the field of expertise, publish results in high-impact journals, collaborate with members of the AC3E team, and co-supervise students.
Part of the renowned Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (USM), AC3E unites top-tier talent from seven additional Chilean universities, serving as a central hub of research excellence and innovation in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Our mission is to advance knowledge and technology development, cultivate skilled professionals, and stimulate innovation and technology transfer in sectors of societal and industrial relevance.

Important Information
• The postdoctoral fellowships are initially for two years (evaluated on a yearly basis).
• Required documents should be provided in English in a single PDF file.
• Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Research accomplishments (publications, grants and awards): 50%; Research statement: 30%; and Expected impact at AC3E: 20%

• English proficiency accreditation is welcome.
• AC3E is located at USM main campus in Valparaiso, Chile.
