Ph.D. Student Position in protein trafficking
The Protein Signaling Domains Laboratory at the Fralin Life Sciences Institute at Virginia Tech is looking for a highly motivated graduate student for a multidisciplinary research program to study how adaptor proteins sort proteins and mediate membrane-dependent processes in both endosomal/lysosomal trafficking and autophagy. Our laboratory addresses these processes using structural biology, biochemical, and biophysical methods. The successful candidate should have a background in biochemistry, biological sciences, chemistry, or a related discipline. NMR experience is not required. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2019.
