Solar eruptive events and their space weather impact

Position Description
A PhD position is offered at the Space Center of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) to work on solar eruptive events and their space weather impact. Skoltech is a private graduate research institute in Moscow, Russia, established in 2011 in collaboration with MIT. The PhD position is funded for 4 years, and starting 1st of November 2018.
The applicant should have a strong master background in mathematical or physical sciences. A profound interest in in solar-terrestrial physics and space weather, and analysis of remote sensing and in-situ data is expected.
