CardioFunXion: Towards a novel paradigm for cardiac function

coordinated by the Department of Information and Communication Technologies at UPF (Barcelona) with Philips Research France, announces 4 PhD fellowships starting end of 2015. PhD students will be supervised by PIs from DTIC-UPF (Barcelona) and Philips (Paris), spending 50% of the time in each, and include the collaboration with the two clinical centers involved.

Projects:

– Longitudinal assessment of cardiac function

– Fusion of heterogeneous measurements into a physiological plausible patient representation

– Open reference databases and tools for the multimodal validation of strain

– Novel approach for evidence based classification of heart failure etiologies
