Position Description

Research topic: Development and characterization of organic light emitting diodes based on delayed fluorescence (Scientific supervisor Prof. Dr. Juozas Vidas Grazulevicius)

The aim of this work is development of efficient organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on themally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). The special attentian will be paid to blue OLEDs. Both TADF compounds exhibiting intramolecular charge transfer and intermolecular charge transfer systems (exciplex-forming materials) will be useed as emitters in the design and fabrications of OLEDs. New materials (emitters and charge-transporting host materials) synthesized at the laboratories of Department of Polymer Chemistry, KTU will be employed. The Department has modern experimentral facilities both for the fabrication and characterization of OLEDs and the materials used for fabrication of the devices.
