Microresonators are fundamental components integrated in a hosts of MEMS applications: covering the automotive sector, the telecommunication industry, electronic equipment for surface/material characterization and motion sensing. The aim of this dissertation is to create a novel microresonator with controllable parameters which could assure much higher functionality of microelectromechanical systems. The complexity in design of such a microresonator starts from creation and investigation of novel polymeric nanocomposite material, exhibiting piezoelectric effect in micrometric dimension, and its use in microresonator construction. It is planned to create a novel microresonator construction, taking into account the characteristics of created novel materials which would assure microresonators‘ controllable parameters. For this purpose, it is planned to create a mathematical model of a microresonator and to manufacture its prototype. Experimental investigations will be done in order to evaluate the functionality and usability of created microresonator prototype. It is planned that this microresonator will be able to work in different frequency range and will have a high quality factor Q. Creation of novel microresonator with controllable parameters will allow it to integrate in various MEMS systems: high stability electrical oscillation sources (generators); electric filters; in sensors for testing proteins, viruses, chemical species and etc.; in energy harvesting and etc.
