14 Jan 2019

Position Description

The Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) is one of the world’s most comprehensive injury prevention research centres. It is unique in being grounded in scientific and academic excellence, while producing research which has real-life implications that are often translated into policy.

At MUARC, we focus on both the prevention of injury as well as the treatment and recovery from injury (injury outcomes, acute care). Our record in translating public health research into real world outcomes that benefit all Australians is one of which we are very proud.

We currently have a heap of scholarships on offer as part of our Injury Prevention Graduate Research Industry Partnership (IP-GRIP). The IP-GRIP is an innovative model that brings together graduate researchers (PhD students) and academic leaders from various fields with external partners to explore an issue of global significance.

The program will deliver up to 16 new innovative researchers. Applicants are invited to submit an EOI by the 31st of January 2019.
