Position Description

The research center STC (Sensible Things that Communicate announces open positions for PhD students in the SMART project – Smart systems and services. The research will be conducted in collaboration with industrial partners in a larger project that integrates the technology challenges within the fields of smart systems and services in the application areas of smart cities, large area surveillance and efficient production.

The position is focused on embedded computing architectures for sensor systems. Emphasis will be on developing computer architectures, computing strategies and evaluating them by combining challenges such as low power consumption, energy communications, cost, and complexity.
